I have a question
about this program

Program OverviewIt is the mission of HOPE®
School Programs to establish a creative and caring environment for students to
successfully learn in the traditional school setting. The fundamental philosophy of the
HOPE® Classroom is that through the creation of HOPE® all young
people can find success in education and life. Disruptive behavior is the greatest threat
to our public school system. Yet, simple removal of the individual causing the disruption
neither solves the problem for the student nor society. It is to the solving of this
systemic dilemma that the HOPE® Classroom is dedicated.
The HOPE® Classroom is a self-contained classroom in
the public school building with both education and therapeutic programs. Key components of
the program are a core academic curriculum, therapeutic intervention, social skills and
conflict resolution instruction, and re-entry into regular education after a specific time
period. Students participate in the HOPE® Classroom for a maximum of 90 days
before they are transitioned back into the regular classroom.
