Overview
Manito’s Therapeutic Education Centers provide a non-residential, community-based alternative for adolescents displaying behavior problems. Manito provides an integrated program of intensive therapeutic services combined with alternative education to include a holistic approach in addressing behavior problems.
Centers are in operation from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and may include an optional evening intensive component for students who need structure and supervision beyond traditional hours. Manito’s Centers are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare as Day Treatment Services. Manito is also an approved private provider of Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth Programs by the PA Department of Education.
